Startups will be introduced to the innovation department and consecutively to various business units at Julius Baer to receive feedback on their solution and discuss potential use cases. During the acceleration program, selected startups will be supported to grow their ventures through a structured and moderated innovation process.

Private banking clients are increasingly looking for investment opportunities in alternative asset classes to enhance the return of their portfolios. However the access to these assets – like private equity, infrastructure, real assets – are often limited due to missing liquidity, high minimum ticket size or high transaction costs.
We are looking for startups who can solve these challenges using latest technologies (DLT) to tokenize alternative assets in order to remove barriers to trading, free up liquidity and eliminate the need for tedious back-office reconciliation making them more accessible to new and existing client groups.
We are also interested to explore blue-sky solutions that are forerunner in social e-commerce and metaverse to create innovative ways to invest into new asset classes – like private and consumer debt through BNPL.
