Tenity and Visa Launch Visa Innovation Program Europe – Nordics & Baltics Edition to Accelerate Regional Fintech Growth

The first season of the Visa Innovation Program Europe – Nordics & Baltics edition, launched in collaboration with Visa and Tenity, is now open for applications. Over the next eight months, selected fintechs will have the opportunity to collaborate with Visa’s business partners, scale their businesses, and expand globally through Visa’s network spanning 200 countries.

 

Stockholm, Sweden — Visa, the global payments technology company, today announced the launch of the Visa Innovation Program Europe – Nordics & Baltics edition, in collaboration with Tenity. Applications are now open for fintechs across the region. Over the next eight months, selected participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with Visa’s business partners, scale their businesses, and expand globally through Visa’s network spanning more than 200 countries.

 

Having run successfully in eight countries since 2018, the Visa Innovation Program Europe is a pilot-driven collaboration platform designed to accelerate fintech growth  with no Company equity requirement. It enables startups to connect with Visa’s extensive network of partners and clients, while providing access to Visa’s technology, resources, and expertise.

This year Nordics & Baltics join the strong community of The Visa Innovation Program Europe, which previously have brought together 120 successful fintech companies in 8 countries, selected out of 1200+ applications. Visa Innovation Program - Nordics & Baltics edition is designed to accelerate the Nordics & Baltics fintech sector, facilitating collaboration between fintechs and Visa's global ecosystem, and bringing innovative solutions to market faster and more efficiently.

This year, the Nordics & Baltics join a thriving community of fintech innovators. To date, the Visa Innovation Program Europe has supported 120 successful fintech companies across eight countries, selected from more than 1,200 applications. The regional edition is designed to accelerate the fintech sector in the Nordics & Baltics by fostering collaboration between startups and Visa’s global ecosystem, helping bring innovative solutions to market faster and more efficiently.

The launch of the Nordics &Baltics edition will offer fintechs access to:

·       Visa’s APIs via the VisaDeveloper Platform

·       Global investment networks and new market opportunities

·       Mentorship from industry experts

·       Partnerships with regional banks and financial institutions

For Visa’s 160+ existing Visa Innovation program partners, the program provides a curated pipeline of innovative fintechs, offering a direct path to new digital solutions and a first-mover advantage by reducing the time and cost associated with in-house development.

The program is open to fintechs based in the Nordics & Baltics with a strong market presence. Applications open on October 6, and selected participants will be announced in December.
