Informed Consent for the “Fintech & Innovation Messaging Feedback Study”

Thank you for your interest in this research. Please read the following carefully before you decide whether to participate.

1. Researcher and Data Controller

This study is conducted by Tenity Group AG, who serves as the Data Controller for any personal data you provide. We comply fully with the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Purpose of the Study

We are gathering anonymous feedback on two headline + sub‐line combinations for a generic fintech–innovation platform, to evaluate clarity, appeal, and credibility.

3. What Data Will Be Collected

  • Survey responses: Your numeric ratings (1–5) and short free-text answers about each messaging combination.
  • Screening data: Your self-reported role (founder or corporate innovation executive), industry, and country.
  • Prolific ID: A non-identifying code provided by Prolific to ensure you only take this survey once.

No sensitive personal data (e.g. ethnicity, health, beliefs) will be collected.

4. How Your Data Will Be Used

  • We will analyze the aggregated ratings and comments to determine which messaging performs best.
  • Individual responses will remain confidential and will never be linked to your name or organization.

5. Data Storage and Retention

  • Your data will be stored on encrypted servers managed by Tenity Group AG.
  • We will retain the anonymized dataset for up to two years, after which it will be permanently deleted.

6. Anonymity and Confidentiality

  • All responses are stored under your Prolific ID only—no names or email addresses are collected.
  • Any quotes or examples used in reports or presentations will be fully anonymized.

7. Future Sharing of Anonymized Data

  • We may share the fully anonymized dataset with other researchers or publish it online, without any way to trace data back to you.

8. Your Right to Withdraw

  • Participation is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw at any time before submitting the final survey page by closing your browser.
  • If you wish to have your submitted data removed after completion, please contact us at marketing@tenity.com within 30 days of submission. After that period, data may be integrated into aggregate analyses and cannot be extracted individually.

9. Legal Framework and Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you have questions about your rights or how we handle your data, please contact us at marketing@tenity.com.
